Last week I had the chance to meet up with an old friend who I hadn’t seen in 6 years. As we met, we paused and both said at the same time “It can’t have been 6 years!”
As we get older we begin to realise that life moves so fast. Six years can seem like six months.
Life is a collection of simple moments, and it’s so easy to overlook the beauty of simple moments. Laughter with friends, a quiet sunset, that first sip of morning coffee, hearing an old song, holding hands without the need for words, witnessing an act of kindness.
Make a promise this week to notice the little things. Life moves fast, don’t miss it.
My Best Wishes, Ian.
